About us

Old Mission is home to a collective of farmers, small growers, and community members who believe in the power of agriculture to sustain Old Mission Peninsula. Our goals are simple:

  • Support local farmers
  • Educate the community
  • Advocate for fair farm-centric policies
  • Celebrate value-added agriculture and creative farm operations

What we grow

Apples, pears, and stone fruits are the legacy crops of Old Mission, forming the foundation of our agricultural heritage. Today, wine grapes, vegetables, flowers, and herbs help create a vibrant and diverse farm economy. Value-added products—like wine, vinegar, jams, and syrups—can be found at our charming roadside stands or enjoyed at any of our eleven local wineries.

Economic Vitality

Local farms contribute to the local economy through food production, land management, and value-added enterprises that keep dollars circulating in the community.
